hehe I'm a smart gal ain't I? Here it is.
Romeo & Juliet; (Angel & Buffy)
Angel:
But, wait! What is that at the window?
It is the wonder and Buffy is the sun,
Come out, wonderful slayer, and kill the vampires
Who are alread dead and pale with hunger for blood,
That you, their demise are very beautiful:
Don't be the slayer, for they don't deserve to be killed by you;
Their old fashioned clothing and accents are old and out of date
And no one here dresses like them, stake them and forget it.
You are my slayer, oh, you are my love!
Oh, that you knew you were!
You slay but you do not kill: what is the diff?
Your eye flutters and I will be there to stroke your cheek.
I am too forward, you didn't even figure out what I am:
Two of the most beautiful stars in all the bleeding heavens,
Having been caught in those eyes
To twinkle and sparkle like the neon flashes of the city.
What is your eyes were there, and they could see what I am?
The bright coloring in her cheeks would out shine the stars and neon lights,
As daytime, though deadly to me, is beautiful it does not have anything on you
Would you understand me if I were to tell you any of the truths I hide
That I could hear the birds sing in their confusion and not be burned alive.
I love how she leans upon those strong arms that stake many vamps!
That I might be that stake and be her trusty help at all times!
Buffy:
Oh my God!
Angel:
You spoke!
Oh, please say something else!
For you are the reason I haven't staked myself already!
As a glorious wonder, more wonderful and strong then any slayer I've seen.
Past the times, years, and ages of dust many slayers have created.
Of mortal men and vampires alike who look with amazement to see my gaze now,
When I walk in heaven when I am only meant for the eternal da**ation of heck.
And I soar on angel wings in exchange for these dark fangs of heck.
Buffy:
O Angel, Angel!! Why are you so dark and questionable Angel?
Deny the beast inside your mind and heart;
Or, if it is too strong promise me your love,
And I'll give up being the slayer and you can make me a vampire, too!
Angel:
(aside) Should I say anything?
Buffy:
For it's only the vampire that is my enemy;
You, yourself, are a man beneath the beast.
What's a vampire? It is only a pile of dust in the form of a human,
It just walks around and hides from the day, sucking blood
And waiting to be slayed. Oh, be the man you used to be!
What's in a name? Because if we called a rose
By any other name, it would still smell just as beautiful;
So would Angel, even if he were not called Angel,
For he is perfect, which I want so badly to hold and love
Even if he is a vampire. Angel, forget what you are and be a man,
And for that demon, which is not you in any way
Take me and my love instead.
Angel:
I believe you!
Call me what you want, and I'll be whatever it is!
From now on I am no longer a vampire!
Buffy:
Who is that out there, I cannot see for the night is dark from here
Are you man or beast?
Angel:
What I am
I do not quite know what that is right now
My being, beautiful slayer, is my own enemy
'Cause it is what you fight and kill every night
If I had a stake, I would puncture my own heart and return to dust!
Buffy:
I haven't heard you say much,
But I know that noise, the sound, and the habit of using the night as cover:
Aren't you Angel, the vampire?
Angel:
No! Slayer, I'm not either one if there is something you dislike about one or the other!
Buffy:
How'd you get here? Come'n, speak up! And why?
There is a protective spell on the house and it wouldn't let you in if you haven't been invited in
And this place is death, for my room is full of stakes, crosses, garlic and much more.
Plus if someone sees me with you I'll have to stake you!
Angel:
With the magicks of love did I overpower the protective spell;
Because there is nothing that could keep my love from you,
And I would never harm you,
So why would one of your friends make you hurt me?
Buffy:
If they do see you, they'll shoot you with a crossbow, more then likely.
Angel:
But there is more danger in the fact you may not love me,
Then in twenty crosses and stakes; if you only love me,
I could walk through heaven at dawn and be safe.
Buffy:
But if they find you, and you are killed, it would kill me in return!
Angel:
I have the night as my cloak to hide me from unwanted eyes;
But if you don't love me, let them stake me here,
For it would be better for me to die from their hate,
Then my eternal life lasting forever, while I want vainly for you to love me.
Buffy:
How have you found my house?
Angel:
Love, love made me want to find you again;
He let me borrow his advice and I let him use my body to come here.
I am no pilot; but even if you were
As far as the wide, open sea that washes o'er the shore,
I would go to heck, heaven, and ifinity to see you.
Buffy:
You know what I do in the night, how it hides the fears and secerts I have,
But during the day I have to believe in makeup to hide that
Because what you've heard me say here, tonight
Why would I care what others think? Why, why deny myself?
What I have said: good-bye cares and concerns!
Do you love me? I know you'll say 'Yes',
And I'll believe your promise: but if you swear,
You may still forget and go astray; for all lovers' do and think
They say, nothing could keep us here. Oh gentle, loving Angel,
If you do love me, say it and mean it:
Or if you think I've been to easy to win over,
I'll frown and play hard to get,
So you can google, ogle, and want; but if you don't think so I'd rather now.
In all truthfulness, my loving vampire, I am too much in love with you,
And, so if you think I'm acting like a love sick girl and not the slayer that I am, tell me:
But trust me, vampire-man, I'll be more true, loving, and faithful
Then any girl or slayer has ever been, even if they were smarter then me.
I should be more hard to get, I know.
But what you heard when I did not know you were here,
Is my true feeling, passion, and love; but please forgive me,
And don't assume that my easiness to your love,
Which you have given me in the dark night.
Angel:
My love, by the moon, I swear!
With it's circle of light, making the fuirt trees become silver and gold-
Buffy:
No! Don't swear by the moon! For it always changes,
And monthly brings out evils,
For if you swear by it, your love may be everchanging and evil like it.
Angel:
Then what d'you want me to swear by?
Buffy:
Please don't swear at all,
But if you wish, swear by your sexy, beautiful self,
For you are the god of my idolatry,
And I'll believe whatever you swear by in yourself.
Angel:
If you, my heart's lover and slayer--
Buffy:
Well, just don't swear! I know I'd love it,
I don't want any part of this promise tonight:
It's too sudden, ill-advised, and dangerous;
Too much like the lightning, which never stops
Here one can say 'It lightens' My sweet vampire, good night!
This blosson of love, that blooms in the summer nights like this,
May become a beautiful flower that noone can stop staring at, but next time.
Good night, good night! As sweet as goodbyes and goodnights can be, be at rest
Reason what you feel with your heart inside your chest!
Angel:
Oh, please don't go and leave me wanting you even more!
Buffy:
But, what can I give to you tonight?
Angel:
The promise of your love in return for my love's promise.
Buffy:
I already gave you my promise, before you even asked or I even knew you were here;
And I'd give it to you again, but you already have it and it's no longer mine to give out.
Angel:
Why d'you go away? What good will it do for you, my dear Slayer.
Buffy:
But to put it quickly, and pledge my love to you again.
And yet, the only thing I wish for is the one thing I have:
My body and what I can give to you is as boundless as the sea,
My love as deep; the more I give to you,
The more I'm getting, for both at infinite and go on forever.
Willow:
Buffy!!!
Buffy:
I hear something inside; dear lover, adieu!
What is it, friend?-- Sweet vampire, be true to me.
Stay here only for a while, I will come again.
Angel:
Oh blessed, blessed, wonderful night! I am afraid.
Being here, this is all a dream, like my life used to be.
Too wonderful, almost life-like to be real and of matter.
Buffy:
Three little words, dear Angel, and good night now.
If your love is real and you mean what you're saying.
If your love is true and what you want is marriage, send to me tomorrow,
By someone that won't burn up in daylight, so I will get ready,
Where and when you want to get married, send all the info;
And all my money I'll hand over to you
Then I'll follow you anywhere my Lord vampire, to death, and even through heck.
Willow:
Buff!
Buffy:
I'm coming Will!-- But if you don't mean a word of what you've said
I don't want to see anyone tomorrow--
Willow:
Buffy!!
Buffy:
Ok, ok, I'm coming:--
To stop the marriage, and leave me to sulk and cry:
Tomorrow I'll send my little sister for you in your crypt.
Angel:
Alright, my soul alr--
Buffy:
A hundred, million times good night!!
Angel:
A hundred, million times more to be sad, to want the sun to shine.
Love connects to love, as slayers are to stakes and vampires to blood
But if you seperate our love from each other, it's the same thing as vampires who starve.
Buffy:
Go! Angel, go! Oh, listen to my voice,
As you say, it's luring, soft, sweet sounds will pull you back again!
Bondage is hard and cruel, but it isn't loud;
Or why else would I yell and make the echos come here,
And make our conversation heard on the wind,
With her voice mocking mine as I repeat Angel again and again.
Angel:
It is only my soul, the man that is behind the beast that calls me what I am:
How sweet and beautiful are the sounds of the tongue of you at night, my lover,
It's like the music that falls on the ears of fans!
Buffy:
Angel!
Angel:
Yes dear?
Buffy:
Around what time tomorrow
Will your messanger get to me?
Angel:
Around nine.
Buffy:
I won't forget: it seems so long until then.
I've already forgotten why I called to you again.
Angel:
Then I'll stay here until you remember.
Buffy:
I'll forget, and you'll be standing there,
Remembering how much I love you and your company.
Angel:
And I'll just stay here, even if you just can't remember,
Then forget any other love or life then me.
Buffy:
It's almost morning; I want you to go:
And, still, I don't want you to leave me;
Like a bird, I want you to hop away but come back,
Poor bird, like a prisoner with a string attached to your leg,
And yet, I will be safer like that, to bring you back again,
So loving but jealous you'll be of your liberty.
Angel:
I would, if I were your bird.
Buffy:
Vampire, so would I:
Good night, good night! Saying good-bye is so
Sweet but bitter,
Then I'll just say it one more time, until tomorrow.
Angel:
Then go to sleep, let there be peace in your heart!
If only I were to sleep and have peace, so sweet you must look as you sleep!
Now I'll go to my Father's cell,
I'll ask him for his help, and my dear, tomorrow you'll be a bride.
